As the eldest son of a disabled Vietnam veteran, Joshua Grzegorzewski has long been familiar with the assistance needs faced by veterans in reacclimating to life away from combat. "I grew up with stories of the terrible treatment our soldiers received from American civilians upon their return from Vietnam following long months exposed to horrible violence, death, and destruction while living under constant vigilance, tension, and fear," explained Grzegorzewski, "I had to do something to show our troops currently deployed overseas and the veterans of my father's generation that their service is appreciated and their sacrifices were not for naught."
