With our country at war and the number of homeless veterans predicted to rise, Calliope—Boston’s collaborative choral / orchestral group—hosted a benefit performance for the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans on Saturday, February 16th. All musical pieces performed that evening related to the theme of “Battle and Peace.” The concert took place in Cambridge at Sanders Theatre, Memorial Hall—a facility built in honor of civil war veterans.
